Looking back: June 28th - SDG Café

In case you missed it, taking advantage of the Volvo Ocean Race, June's SDG Café was all about water, safety on the coast and clean oceans. At the Innovation Pavilion of the Volvo Ocean Race Village, we visited Blue21 starting a blue revolution, Elemental Water Makers showcasing desalinisation powered by renewable energy, and a transparent plastic recycling system by Precious Plastic Den Haag among so many other exciting innovators making our relationship with water more sustainable.

This followed by pitches and a lively discussion, you can read all about it here!
Looking forward: August 30th & 31st - SDG-Conference: Towards Zero Hunger

The conference centres around: end hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition, and promote sustainable agriculture (SDG2) and create partnerships (SDG17). To reach zero hunger, new sustainable, inclusive and resilient food systems matching local needs and circumstances and taking into account higher scale-levels conditions are required. Looking forward: 25th September – SDG Action Day [in Dutch]

No, everyone can join the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals: 17 global goals to turn the world’s biggest challenges into opportunities for everyone.  Be invited at the #SDGActionDay on September 25th in KIT/SDG-house. Find the full program here on the Gateway and register yourself here.
