Fairfood • 3 October 2017
Event date 3 Oct '17 17:30 - 21:00 CEST (UTC +2)
Event location Freedom Lab • Plantage Middenlaan 62, Amsterdam, 1018DH, Netherlands

Finally here: the 4th Case of blockchain in the space of food. Focused on smallholders this time. Best to be there of course, but if you want to follow us online, go here:

We'll learn from AgUnity: They have large numbers of smallholders on the multichain blockchain, AgriLedger, and drastically increased farm income. Cacao and wheat farmers.

We also have a Dutch farmer (the first?) interested in blockchain. Jan Huijgens will share his thoughts on food integrity and how this new technology can be relevant for new food systems in Holland.

We'll end the content part with a game. We'll trade coffee on hyperledger. Come and experience! Be one of the few people who have seen and interacted with the technology.

You're welcome from 17:30, we start at 18:00 and there is free networking space from 21:30 onwards. We have food and drinks available. We ask a 15 euro contribution, to be paid at entry. If this is an issue for you, come and see me at the venue. We want these events to be very borderless.

Fairfood is sponsoring food and drinks.
