Event location Caballero fabriek • Saturnusstraat 60, The Hague, Netherlands

Child labour must be eliminated by 2025. This was agreed upon by the United Nations in the context of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s), more specifically SDG target 8.7. The Dutch government is keen to contribute to achieving this goal and will organize, with support of the SDG charter and VNO-NCW, the event 'Netherlands against child labour: innovation to eradicate child labour' on Tuesday October 24th.

During this event innovative ways to contribute to the elimination of child labour in the value chain will be presented. There will be room for existing good practices, but attention will also go out to new creative ideas.

Through a challenge in September of this year, students, start-ups and other creative minds were called upon to come up with innovative ideas which can help eliminate child labour in the value chain. The five best ideas will be presented during the event on October 24th.

Are you looking for solutions to tackle child labour in your value chain or would you like to exchange ideas on how to address this issue? Then be sure to attend the event on Tuesday, October 24th and enroll here.

We hope to see you on October 24th!
