The Circulars is an initiative of the World Economic Forum and the Forum of Young Global Leaders, run in collaboration with Accenture Strategy. It’s the world’s first circular economy award program. The award offers recognition to individuals and organizations across the globe that are making notable contributions to the circular economy in the private sector, public sector, and society. The annual awards are hosted at the World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting in Davos.
How do The Circulars work?
You can submit your entry for 2018 until September 30. Between October and November 2018, a world-class judging panel will be reviewing entries against a standard marking scheme by The Circulars Award Team, before completing a desk-based review. They will then decide on the Finalists for each category and determine the Winners and Runners Up for each.
Whether you’re a multinational demonstrating innovation in its existing business, an early-stage organization at the vanguard of this exciting movement, a public sector body that is disrupting business as usual, or using digital technologies to enable the circular economy, The Circulars Awards and Circle Economy invite you to submit your entry to the following categories:
- Award for Circular Economy Leadership
- Award for Circular Economy Multinational
- Award for Circular Economy SME
- Award for Circular Economy Public Sector
- Award for Circular Economy Investor
- Award for Circular Economy Digital Disruptor
- People’s Choice Award for Circular Economy Entrepreneur
